As part of a partnership with the association Nos Quartiers ont des Talents ("There's Lots of Talent Where We Live") 13 young university graduates have been mentored by Prologis France employees in their job searches. This partnership is an expression of Prologis' values and is part of our CSR approach in favour of education and inclusion.
Since 2006, NQT has assisted young university graduates (holding three-year degrees or more), most of whom are from underprivileged backgrounds and have not always held the keys to success in their job searches, such as self-confidence, identifying the right job offers, preparing for a job interview, etc.
"With this type of initiative, Prologis pursues its commitment to equal opportunity and inclusion in the professional world. We are now taking a more comprehensive approach to inclusion and diversity, to ensure that these solidarity-based initiatives, which are more necessary than ever, last a long time", said Émilie Prévert, Head of Human Resources for Southern Europe at Prologis, which established this partnership.
This give-and-take with professionals helps young people move past the obstacles they face and move into the job market with greater self-confidence. So far, 13 young people have been mentored by Prologis employees. Eight of them have found a job and five more are actively seeking one.
This partnership also tells young people more about career opportunities in logistics real estate, a promising, fast-growing sector.
