Prologis, the global leader in logistics real estate today shared its charitable impact in Europe and steadfast commitment to local communities and good causes. Europe’s most sustainable developer of industrial logistics parks has a proud history of giving back to charities and communities. Recently, 12 of our European offices took part in a month-long ‘Dock Doors of Giving campaign’, aimed at returning much needed funds to charitable causes and community groups hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, on World Cancer Day, we are sharing how our employees and supply chain, together with the Prologis Foundation, returned over €275,000 to 91 charities across Europe, outperforming the initial target of €200,000. 

Donations ranged from financial contributions to food, toys and other items, including hand sanitizer and much needed PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), to food banks and community groups struggling to cope with increased demand.  

The “Dock Doors of Giving” campaign goes beyond simple charitable donations. It provides support and commitment to the local communities where we work” explains Cécile Tricault, Prologis’s Regional Head Southern Europe. Social responsibility is deeply rooted in our culture. In France, we have mostly given funding to selected associations*, but some of us have also given our time. This campaign uniquely helps us come together and show how we can make a real difference for charities and community groups as COVID-19 continues to put pressure on all areas of life.”

  • AIDES, combating HIV and viral hepatitis.
  • Les Apprentis d’Auteuil, providing a welcome, training and help into work for disadvantaged young people.
  • Secours populaire, providing material, health, mental and legal support for victims of social injustice, natural disasters, poverty, hunger, underdevelopment or armed conflict.
  • Habitat et Humanisme, supporting housing and employment opportunities for people in difficulty. 
  • Les Cuistots migrateurs, caterer and restaurant offering world cuisine, employing refugee cooks from Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, Nepal, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, etc.
  • Sassoun Mush, an Armenian cultural association.
  • La Croix Rouge, humanitarian aid. 
  • Nos Quartiers ont du talent, helping young people with qualifications into work. 
  • Société Protectrice des Animaux (SPA), animal protection society.


All charitable causes contributed and selected were personal to our employees involved with the campaign.
