Feedback on the 2020 Greater Paris Summit, held on September 29 and of which Prologis was a partner. On this occasion, Cécile Tricault, Regional Head for Prologis Southern Europe, spoke on the theme: “Urban Logistics: Meet the last-mile demand.”

Putting logistics back at the heart of urban politics is a crucial issue, especially within the greater Paris. E-commerce is booming, even more so in the light of the health crisis, and consumer expectations are changing. Moreover, environmental challenges require concrete commitments from the logistics industry to decarbonize. For Prologis, the development of urban logistics must better meet new consumer expectations by offering more virtuous logistics flow management.

In her speech, Cécile Tricault took the example of the conversion of brownfield sites as a means of densifying the network of logistics warehouses in the city and responding to these challenges.
