Each year on the third Friday of May, Prologis offices worldwide close so that employees can volunteer for a public cause. "IMPACT" stands for Integrity, Mentoring, Passion, Accountability, Courage and Teamwork.
Since 2014, Prologis France employees have worked alongside Les Apprentis d’Auteuil, a public interest Catholic foundation that, in liaison with state institutions, takes in 13,700 children or teenagers in social, educational or family difficulty.
In 2016, 45 employees from the Paris and Lyon offices of Prologis came together for the day to work on several renovation activities in the MECS Saint Charles children’s home in Vésinet.
These employees arrived at the home with equipment (paint, tools, etc.) and carried out different tasks, such as painting the courtyard, restoring the football pitch and planting flowerbeds at the main entrance—all with help from the children.
After the hard work, it was time for fun, refreshments and a basketball match, which the children won, hands down!
